Throughout the summer of 2023, I will be working on the ‘Quantification and Mitigation of GHG Emissions from High-Value Agricultural Production Systems in British Columbia’ project, under the supervision of Sean Smukler and Jordan Kersey. My activities thus far have included KCl extractions, soil and crop sampling at UBC farm, aggregate stability, N analysis in R studio, as well as the co-development of carbon fractionation protocol for the lab, with future analysis to follow.
