  • Sustainable development
  • Agricultural economics
  • Sustainable agricultural systems (Integrated crop-livestock – forest systems)
  • Macroeconomics

My main research interest is evaluating the economic potential of alternative agriculture systems (e.g. integrated crop-livestock-forest and agroforestry) to be used as a sustainable development strategy in the Amazon and in the Brazilian Cerrado.

Current Research

Study 1: Establishment of Technological and Economic Performance units in the state of Mato Grosso: Economic Viability Approach

The objective of this research is to propose an economic evaluation approach for integrated crop-livestock-forestry systems (iCLF) in Mato Grosso(iLPF).

Study 2: Methodologies and New Approaches to Economic Evaluation of Integration Systems for Agricultural Livestock (iLPF)

The objective of this research is to validate an economic evaluation approach of integrated crop-livestock-forestry systems (iCLF) in different regions of Brazil.
