Current Research

Solutions for Carry Over of Legacy P in the Fraser and Hullcar Valleys of BC

Soil is enriched with organic or inorganic fertilizers to support agricultural lands for sustained production of food, fodder and fibre. We essentially require continuous assessment of extra nutrients added to cropping systems to increase/maintain productivity while controlling nutrient losses to the environment especially surface and below ground aquifers. My main research interest is to provide appropriate recommendations in Phosphorus fertilizer usage as well as provide insights to limit legacy phosphorus build up and pollution in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia.
